The Institute Held an Industrial Poverty Alleviation Research Arrangement Meeting

On the morning of June 17, the Institute held an industrial poverty alleviation research arrangement meeting at the 1822 conference room of Qiyun Building. Wu Guosheng, the deputy executive party secretary of the university and dean of the Institute; Chen Xingpeng, Deputy Dean of the Institute; Wang Yong, Director of the University Poverty Alleviation Office, and other experts from the research team attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Wu Guosheng.

Wu Guosheng pointed out that the research focuses on industrial poverty alleviation, involving cities of Tianshui and Dingxi. It is jointly organized by Lanzhou University and the Provincial Finance and Economics Office. The specific work is undertaken by the Institute. Wu emphasized that the task is heavy due to tight schedule, and the requirements are high, thus he hoped that all teachers will attach great importance to it, effectively improve the political position, actively practice the "three active" development ideas, grasp the key points, systematically plan, design from the whole perspective, push on the research in order, and make full use of the university’s disciplines and professional advantages, understand the realities of local industry development in-depth, put forward practical and feasible policy advisory reports, and make actual contributions to Gansu Province.


At the meeting, the attendees also exchanged ideas on the research projects they were responsible for.
