In order to further enhance the political theoretical literacy and professional quality of the city’s development and reform system cadres, and continue to improve the ability and level to ensure reforms, maintain stability, and promote development, on October 14, Institue of County Economic Development of Lanzhou University held the capacity building training courses for development and reform systems of Lanzhou City. Wei Kongyi, party member and deputy director of Lanzhou Development and Reform Commission and Mao Jinhuang, Executive Dean of the institute presented this opening ceremony which was hosted by Wu Yue, the Division Director of Admistration Office.

Mao Jinhuang said, The Lanzhou Development and Reform Commission arranged this training course to be undertaken by the Institute, which fully reflects the trust in Lanzhou University and the recognition of the work of our institute. Our institute attaches great importance to, carefully arranges, and formulates the training programs and teaching plans, and will earnestly organize this training work.

Wei Kongyi expressed his gratitude to the Institute for its support to this training. He put forward three requirements to the trainees. One is to cherish the opportunity and study hard. The second is to strictly observe discipline and learn something. The third is to focus on practical results and gain some achievements. With firm confidence, strong skills, and solid work style, we will make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of Lanzhou.

This training class invites on-site professional teachers and senior management personnel from government and enterprises to give on-site lectures. The courses cover the interpretation of the Civil Code and the interpretation of various special business policies. These courses will be conducted through special lectures, case teaching and other forms.Abundant training forms and good teaching effects have effectively enhanced the abilities and levels of trainees and ensured the completion of high-quality training projects.

At the graduation ceremony, Mao Jinhuang and Chen Jianrong, Chief of Personnel Section of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, issued training certificates to the trainee representatives.
