On the morning of March 4^th, Liu Pengfei, Director of Rural Economy Research Division under Gansu Provincial Government Research Office, visited the Institute. Executive Dean Mao Jinhuang, with all the staff and representatives of postgraduate students attended the meeting.

Mao Jinhuang welcomed the arrival of Liu Pengfei and his colleague, and introduced the basic situation and the composition of the scientific research team of the Institute. The participating teachers communicated their ideas on issues such as county economic development, consolidation of achievements in poverty alleviation, and rural vitalization referring to their research direction and expertise.

Liu Pengfei exchanged views with participants on relevant issues, reviewed the cooperation projects between the two sides, and looked forward to strengthening cooperation and interaction with the Institute in the future, with the expectation to closely focus on the national strategy and local economic and social development needs, give full play to the advantages of both sides, and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of local economy.
