On the afternoon of October 18^th, the opening ceremony of Gansu Institute of Rural Revitalization and the forum on "Practical Experience and Achievement Consolidation of Poverty Alleviation in Gansu Province" were held in Northwest Normal University.

Wu Jianping, president of Gansu Institute of Rural Revitalization, introduced the background, main responsibilities and organizational structure of the establishment of the institute, and proposed that the institute aims to better consolidate and develop the existing poverty alleviation model and experience, integrate the resources of universities and research institutes in Gansu province, carry out research and policy advisory services on major issues of rural revitalization in Gansu Province, build communication platforms between universities and local governments, industrial enterprises and agricultural operators, and promote the deep integration of scientific research, social services and talent training.

Executive Dean Mao Jinhuang was invited to attend the ceremony.
