On the morning of July 29th, the signing ceremony between the Rural Revitalization Strategy Research Institute and the Lanzhou New Area Modern Agriculture Development Research Institute and the unveiling ceremony of the production, education, research and talent training base were held in the Lanzhou New Area Modern Agriculture Investment Group.

It’s hoped that the two parties would strengthen communication, make precise connections, refine, actualize, and concrete the content of cooperation, and focus on the strategic consulting, planning, project implementation, and talent training of the sustainable and high-quality development of modern agriculture in the Lanzhou New Area. Therefore, it’s significant to pay close attention to implementation to make bilateral cooperation more pragmatic and more effective.

Jiao Tangguo is full of confidence in the prospects of cooperation between the two sides. He said that Lanzhou University is a national key comprehensive university with strong faculty, a gathering of experts and scholars, outstanding achievements in scientific research, and a high reputation at home and abroad. The Modern Agricultural Development Research Institute would take this cooperation as an opportunity to make full use of the platform of industry-university-research and talent training bases, with the help of the talent team and scientific research platform of Lanzhou University, to keep an eye on the "village revitalization", modern agricultural innovation and development in Lanzhou New Area, as well as the actual demand for structural reforms on the agricultural supply side, fostering new opportunities, opening new games, and composing new chapters, so as to inject a steady stream of talent vitality into the economic and social development of Gansu Province and even the northwestern region.
