Notice of Forum on Gansu County Economic Growth and Rural Revitalization

The December 15th, 2018 will mark the opening of Forum on Gansu County Economic Growth and Rural Revitalization hosted by Lanzhou University and Gansu Bank and organized by the Institute for Studies in County Economy Development (Institute for Studies in Rural Revitalization Strategy) in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Your presence is cordially requested. The detailed information is as follows:

I. Theme

Focusing on county economy to support poverty alleviation and to boost rural revitalization

1. Industrial restructuring and integrated development between the primary, secondary and tertiary industries

2.Deepening supply-side structural reform in agriculture with advantageous industrial system taking shape.

4. Fostering new industries and building prior industry to promote rural and agricultural modernization.

6. Reform of rural “Three Changes”[1] the Rural Land System

7. New types of urbanization and rural modernization.

VIII. Paper Submission

The paper should be in accordance with the theme of this forum and focus on illustrating policies and suggestions. It is required that each paper submitted should be unpublished with at least 8000 words. As for the format, please refer to Journal of Lanzhou University (Social Sciences Section). Please send your paper in WORD format via email to xyjj@lzu.edu.cn before November 30, 2018, with the author’s name and title as the email subject.

IX. Forum Fee

The organizer will charge no fees and offer working meals during the forum. Attendants need to pay the cost for accommodation and transportation by themselves.
