To those who are concerned,

As the Announcement of Application for Subjects on Macroscopical Decision-Making by Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2019 requires, we hereby release the notice as follows regarding relevant matters.  

I. Guidance on preparing subjects

The provincial and ministerial level subjects on Macroscopical Decision-Making by Ministry of Culture and Tourism can be categorized into key topics and general ones for the purpose of tapping into researching sources to serve Macroscopical decision-making on culture and tourism. The 2019 subjects should be developed within the following field and direction with self-designed titles.  

II. Requirements for application

1. Your subject should be consistent with what the above guidance describes, otherwise, your subject will not be considered. You should also select a research direction to make your own title and the title you created should be scientific, precise, standard and brief, usually, without sub-titles. 

2. Conditions for application:1)Abiding by the constitution and laws of PRC, unholding the guidance of Xin Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the new era, and embracing the routines, guiding principles and policies of the Party. 2)Having acquired the advanced title or above or have got the doctorate. 3) Equipped with a research team of at least three members.

3. The host whose subject was failed is not allowed re-applying in three years. And we only accept the collective application by unit instead of individual allocation.

III. Filling-in requirements for application from

1. The applying unit should fill in the Form for Application for Subjects on Macroscopical Decision-Making by Ministry of Culture and Tourism (appendix 1 and prepared in Aug. 2019)( Application Form in short in the following) based on the reality and avoid future IPR disputes. If any fraud, plagiarizing conducts are found in a subject, the unit will not be allowed applying in three years, even if the subject have acquired approval, it will be still canceled.

2. All the applied subject will be selected through qualification appraisal and final meeting review. In the Application Form (mentioned above),the part of proof should be written within 4000 words, otherwise the application qualification at that year will be canceled.

3. The approved application from will be deemed compliant and legal contract to raised funds. After the meeting appraisal, the outcome will be identified with its rankings published.

IV. Support funding

RMB 50,000  will be funded for each key subject and RMB 30,000  for each general subject.

V. Researching duration

It is planned the Application for Subjects on Macroscopical Decision-Making by Ministry of Culture and Tourism should be completed by November in the year of approval.

VI. Requirements for outcomes

1. Researching report: the leader should submit the outcome of the subject through report with at least 15,000 words.

2. Abstract of outcome: the responsible person should submit the abstract of subject completion with at least 3000 words.

All the schools please send your Application Forms (paper ones) ( one original version with 7 copies on A3 paper of both sides and fold in half to be stapled ) and one summary sheet(appendix 2) of all applied subjects with your seal to the Project Management Office of Division of Society and Science
